ABOUT DR. SEP PASHANG

Sep is an executive advisor, leadership coach, and transformation leader specializing in AI strategy, GenAI enablement, and organizational transformation. He most recently served as Vice President, GenAI Enablement & Advanced Analytics at Morgan Stanley, helping lead enterprise-scale AI and advanced analytics initiatives across global technology and cybersecurity organizations.

Enterprise Leadership

Over the past two decades, Sep has led transformation initiatives across organizations including Morgan Stanley, Scotiabank, Royal Bank of Canada, and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. His work has spanned AI strategy, executive reporting platforms, advanced analytics, organizational design, innovation enablement, and enterprise coaching.

At Morgan Stanley, he helped shape initiatives related to GenAI, agentic AI, cybersecurity strategy, and post-quantum readiness.

Research & Academic Background

Sep holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo focused on AI for sustainable finance. His research examined AI as a social innovation during periods of market volatility and crisis, exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics, sustainable development, and financial systems. This combination of enterprise leadership and doctoral research gives him a perspective that blends technical depth, systems thinking, and a human-centered approach to AI transformation.

Coaching & Communication

Alongside his enterprise work, Sep brings deep coaching experience across leadership, team systems, and organizational transformation. He is trained as an enterprise transformation coach, agile coach, and team and relationship coach, with additional expertise in executive coaching, systems coaching, design thinking, and leadership facilitation.

Prior to his work in enterprise transformation, he curated and speaker-coached major TEDx events across Canada, helping leaders communicate complex ideas with clarity, confidence, and impact.
